Christine has been employed as an Environmental Service Cleaner at Dorrigo Multi-Purpose Service since January 1999.

Christine is fully engaged with her workplace, being actively involved with various committees, planning social events to strengthen inter-department relationships and celebrate staff personal milestones and providing support when needed in diversional therapy and administration roles.

Christine always has a smile on her face and a positive word for everyone she comes in contact with, often being observed conversing with the Highview residents and doing the little extra things that make a big difference to those who call the Dorrigo MPS home.

It is clear working at Dorrigo is more than a job for Christine, she is dedicated to always going above and beyond to make the MPS a great place to work, live and recover.

Dr Naik is a psychologist with the Community Mental Health Service in Kempsey.

He has devoted his 25-year career to working in Mental Health. He provides professional assistance to those with mental health needs in various settings, particularly in Kempsey with the Aboriginal community and homeless people.

As a team leader, Dr Naik coordinates rapid response and long term care for consumers with debilitating illnesses and implements community groups to support people with anxiety and depression. He is a highly valued member of the team with a wealth of knowledge and experience supporting staff and students in providing the best care possible.

Dr Naik has been a driver of innovation and clinical excellence through the development and implementation of various support groups, programs and staff development opportunities to provide better support and quality of life for people with mental health concerns in the community.
